So the big moving day came, or maybe that should be moving week came. We packed up our clothes, shoes, furniture and our memories, and bundled them into the back of our cars. The new neighbours must have thought we were seriously downsizing from the sheer amount of boxes, bags and every other possible container we could find, that had our belongings stuffed in them. After umpteen car journeys we finally moved into our bungalow, and set about reassembling furniture, and unpacking cases. The most commonly used phrases in our home this week has been "have you seen the ....." "do you know which box/bag the ....... Is in?" But we are getting there, our aim is to be box and bag free within a fortnight. So I suppose I'd better stop blogging g and get back to it. As always stay safe & hug you kiddie winkles tight.

This week my precious one returned to school, after 8 weeks off during the summer. Way back in July Neves school closed its doors for the last time. She has now started in a purpose built all singing all dancing special needs school, it is a lovely place, but I was worried about her settling as she wasn't going to be with all of her previous classmates, her transport to & from school changed.  So we were told her bus would collect her at 840am but then on Monday morning the bus arrived at 8.05am needless to say we BOTH were still in our PJs.  So I took Neve in on her first day.  She returned home via transport and was visibly upset.  The following morning as soon as she saw the bus off she went head rocking and fingers in ears displaying classic Neve anxious behaviours, I was uneasy about her going to school on this new bus with a new driver and new escort... but thought like any child Neve is going to take a bit of getting used to the change.  Tuesday a...

A promise

It's been almost 12 months since I last "blogged" and so much has happened in that 12 months....... My wedding being the major one, and as anyone who has been married will know the months leading into marriage are rather hectic. Now couple this with the fact we were told we were due to move into a disabled bungalow and all the stresses that go with that (never mind the fact that we still living out of cardboard boxes as we haven't moved yet) so that's my explanation for not blogging for a while. I promise to try to blog more.
