A little catchup
The last time I blogged, we had just moved and were aiming to be box and bag free within 2 weeks, well...... We have been in our lovely little bungalow 6 months now and finally got rid of the last of the moving boxes about a fortnight ago!!! However it's not through sheer laziness. We decided to do things methodically, so we unpacked basic living essentials and decided to unpack each room fully as we decorated.
First we decorated Neves room, perfectly pink for the princess she is. The plan was then bathroom, hallway, living room, kitchen, our bedroom. Leaving the spare bedroom cream and as an office space, somewhere I could consider starting up "Stick & Stamp" a handmade card making business. Anyway we got stuck into the decorating which we could only do on a weekend when Neve was staying at her dads for the night. Halfway through painting the bathroom I said to the Mr that I felt sick, so I stopped painting and went for some fresh air..... The Mr finished off the painting.
Later that week, I felt exhausted and I complained to my sister while shopping... "I think the stress of the wedding, neve moving schools and moving house has taken its toll on me I'm a wreck, I keep falling asleep mid afternoon, Ive lost my appetite and I feel sick almost constantly " We'll she took one look at me in Asda and took me to the pregnancy test aisle... I told her not to be so silly, I'd only had the contraceptive implant removed about 3 weeks earlier, but to keep her happy I bought it, did the test and it was negative.
About 2 weeks later I was still suffering from chronic tiredness and felt hungover after drinking a minuscule amount of booze the previous night. The Mr insisted I take another test, have you guessed yet? Correct I was approximately 5 weeks pregnant!
